As expressed elsewhere, the primary objective of CMB Newark is to build genuine people power through survival programming, targeted campaigns, and popular and political education. It is our intention that we will do this as an individual organization, but also via coordination with and through support of the critical work of new and established grassroots organizations in Brick City.

All Eyes on Delaney
As detailed in our statement regarding recent actions at Delaney Hall, CMB Newark intends to continue to be a presence at the facility in order to provide support and assistance to the families and organizers both within and on the outside. We will continue to be a presence until Delaney Hall is no long holding our immigrant comrades hostage.
Supporting our Returning Citizens
CMB Newark will be embarking on a resource collection campaign to support community members who are returning home after being incarcerated. We will be working with the Returning Citizens Support Group of NJ for this effort. Specific details will be provided when they are available.
