Community Survey: Newark and the National Guard

With the recent deployments of the National Guard in LA, DC, Memphis, and Chicago, the Newark Chapter of Community Movement Builders is conducting a community survey for Newark residents to gain an understanding of what folks know about the National Guard and what they’d like to know.

With this understanding, we hope to start a series of community conversations and teach-ins to explore the historical context of the National Guard, analyze this current moment, and to identify ways for the people of Newark to prepare if the National Guard is deployed to Newark next.
